Who is eligible to attend the training?

The training is open to all cancer clinicians, including Oncologists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Pharmacists, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, and Social Workers

What can I expect to learn from the training?

  • Learn to use readily available free/low-cost digital apps in conjunction with your clinical patient visits (app augmented therapy).
    Learn to help your patients use their digital devices to enhance treatment effectiveness (smart watches/activity tracking, mood tracking, structured goals…)
  • Use of emerging AI in a clinical context
  • Extend your clinical reach by using technology to help implement what you teach in the context of your strong relationship with the patient
  • Fantastic networking opportunities with 10 training faculty and up to 75 psychosocial and oncology providers from around the country

Social Workers
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. ASWB Content Level: Beginner, Intermediate. Social workers completing this course receive up to 11.50 continuing education credits.
